What is Gel Nail Art?

Gel Polish Nail Art is designs and products added to standard nails to enhance, embellish and decorate the finger nails and toe nails. Nail art can be taken to the extreme of building designs up off the nail or as simple as a few dots. It can also be used to accentuate fashion accessories such as handbags, jewellery or shoes, even makeup.

Benefits of Gel Nail Art

  • Help to accentuate their nails.
  • Can encourage clients not to pick their nails as they do not want to ruin the design.
  • Can boost your client’s confidence.
  • A great way for self-advertising and promoting your skills.
  • Can add strength from glitter designs and also the layers that you use.

Training for the future

The awardwinning training days at FBD Academy are both informative and comprehensive. Webelieve that the best way to learn is by doing, so our tutors are keen tosupport students through an intensive hands-on approach to all of our courses, whilst also providing comprehensive training manuals for use at home.
Gel polish is now becoming one of the most popular salon/mobile based nail therapy treatments, and as such, Gel Nail Art is become a greatly desired extra and due to the drying time being vastly reduced (no need to wait for it to dry), nail art can now be added without additional time for layering.
Nail Art has become a huge part of the nail industry and technology is moving very quickly to become a driving force in the Nail Art world.
